I get that way when I've had a couple of glasses of the red stuff. Beast and I went to a murder mystery presentation this evening. Hmm. All the 'actors' were reading from scripts which they appeared never to have seen before, and in the first interval we were treated to a play written and presented by twelve year olds. However, the food was good, the company was good, and I had the chance to write off-the-cuff crack!fic as there was a form for submitting the 'comedy solution'. I reckoned the Narrator dunnit. Not quite clear why our team didn't win, as we got the answer right...
Ah, whatever.
So. SeSa.
(a) Ah. Ahahaha. Hah.

If you want any further info from me... hmm. I like, well, pretty much anything if it's written with conviction. I'd much rather you write the pairing you prefer and do it with heart than try to go for my favourite if it isn't your thing. Yes, I do have an OTP, but I'm promiscuous - I'll read it all!
Of last year's SeSa, "The Earl of Rothinghamtonfordshire" was my cherished favourite, it made me giggle so much. Yes, I love a story that makes me laugh. But, I also love many stories for other things, like giving me an unexpected insight, a moment of Truth - yes, that's how so-and-so would react, that's what he'd feel. "A Girl and His Dog" was my favourite Trickyfish last year - a clever and unusual story, sweet and sincere.
I don't think of myself as someone who loves AUs. And yet, "A Hell of a Yarn" is also among my favourites from last year's SeSa. I liked the characterisations and the detail of the setting, which was specific rather than generic, and the way JC was intelligent as well as fluffy. Also, hot sex, yay! Not essential, by any means; if you like to write it, that's fine with me, but I won't feel cheated if you don't.
One stipulation: if it occurs to you to write a fresh chapter in my Chronicles of Lancyn and Ser Chrisfer - please don't. Next year, I'd probably be delighted to read it, but for the moment, their story isn't finished, and I want to keep to my own vision until it's done.
Otherwise, have fun with it. Good luck!
